Mel is a character.
He wanted a site to showcase his mosaics and drawings that was as vibrant and playful as the work itself. We decided on a full screen experience that utilized parallax scrolling in order to show the level of detail he puts into each work.
The homepage image is the first impression. By using a full screen template, the visitor is greeted by Mel's incredible color choice as well as his technical abilities as a visual artist.
The template that we used features parallax scrolling which creates a unique experience of discovery for visitors. A simple greeting and bio line give a little context to the rest of the site.
As you peruse the site, the galleries are grouped by common media: mosaics, commissioned work, and drawings.
